The Merchant Experience or MXP features were created to give merchants more autonomy with their shop on Grubhub for Campus. The features offered by the MXP system are designed to give merchants more control over their day to day operations with the app, controlling everything from order flow to managing your menu on the Active Cashier. These features are available upon request with your account manager.
Queue Visibility:
The queue visibility tool is helpful to keep track of the queue size. This will assist you in managing your throttle times to ensure the best possible customer experience. You can view the queue under the preparing tab.
-
Use the view to quantify how many customers are in the virtual queue as well as the current wait time.
-
Note: Queue Visibility can drive the decision to adjust the Throttle Bar or tap Print Now.

Order Efficiency Settings:
Order Efficiency Settings are a merchant experience feature that removes the throttle, this keeps a set number of orders on the iPad screen until the customer is notified. Setting the max orders "in flight" is something that should be discussed with your account manager.

Order Alert States:
The order alert feature is designed to assist operators with notifying their customers when an order is ready. The different alert states are based on venue ETA times, these times can be discussed with your account manager. After an order passes the first ETA time limit, the order card will turn orange. When an order passes the second ETA the order cards will begin flashing red. When the last ETA time is breached the iPad will begin beeping.
