Adding Images

1. In the Edges Editor OR the Nodes panel, select the ITEM or CATEGORY you would like to add an image for by right-clicking.
2. Click on the Upload button to select an image file from your computer. 
3. Once you’ve added an image to the frame, you have the ability to Zoom In or position the image as you like.
4. Make sure to click “Upload Cropped Image” once you have it in the preferred placement. Note: This will be immediately viewable on the active menu items.

If an image needs to be removed or updated, there is a button in the node “Remove” to completely remove the image from the Catalog. 

• Category Level Images: Should be landscape orientation. 
  • 1000 px x 500 px
    
     
• Item/Modifier Level Images: Should be either square or portrait orientation.
  • 500 px x 500 px

Things to Avoid with Menu Images:

• Avoid hard angles unless necessary. This type of shot is overused in the industry.
   
• Avoid containers when possible.
   
• Avoid multiple items/plates with no focus.
   
• Avoid overuse of warm lighting.
   
• Avoid cropped text in the image.
   
• Avoid unrecognizable ingredients.
   
• Avoid hands/utensils in the shot.
