Nodes Panel:
The first panel from the left is the Nodes panel. This panel contains all of the nodes that have ever been created for the menu. The nodes will fall in the order that they've been created, so the most recent nodes created will route to the bottom of this panel.
There are four types of nodes: Category [1], Item [2], Group [3], and Modifier [4].
- Category Level: Indicates what the menu items are grouped as
- Item Level: The menu item for purchase (must have a price)
- Group Modifier: These are like different file folders for customizations on a menu item (size, flavor, etc.). They are grouped by the type of customization available on the menu item.
- Modifier: These are the nodes that customize the item i.e. Small, Medium, Large
Structure:
The middle panel is called the Structure which is the layout of the menu that shows on the app and website. This is where the Nodes are added to (by dragging over) to add something new to the menu.
Edges Editor:
The Edges Editor is the panel where details are added to each of the different node types. This is where you add pricing, group modifier requirements, calorie information, etc.
Details of the nodes saved to the Structure Panel are inputted in this Panel. This Panel also has features that help in mass editing edges all at once. You can do this by clicking the pencil tool at the bottom of the edges editor.
- Add/Change Price: Enter the price of the item or modifier. The item price starts out as the smallest size offered of the item and then modifier prices are incremental to the item base price.
- Minimum: The lowest number of modifier choices the customer has to select from the group. Leave blank if it’s not required (N/A).
- Maximum: The highest number of modifier choices that can be selected from the group.
- Calories: Add the caloric information for the item
