Alerts that are set up on the dashboard are notifications that let you know when your shops are losing orders (they are open and offline). This guide will walk you through the types of notifications and what they look like.
You can set up alerts to send to anyone via SMS, email, or phone call. These alerts can follow an escalation path that you set up:
- Contact 1 - Receives an alert 5 minutes after a shop goes offline
- Contact 2 - Receives an alert 30 minutes after Contact 1
- Contact 3 - Receives an alert 30 minutes after Contact 2
Examples of Notifications You Will Receive:

Email:
- An automated email will give you information on which shop is experiencing issues and link you to onstiesupport@grubhub.com.

Phone Call:

An automated phone call that will attempt to call you twice every 30 minutes until your shop is online once again.
