This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to connect your Cloud Printer to the Wi-Fi network.
- Note: The Wi-Fi MAC address can be found written on the physical USB adapter we shipped over to you.
Before setting up, please note you need to plug in the printer to an ethernet port, and a laptop to an ethernet port next to it. This will help ensure the devices are on the same network to configure.
To connect to an access point, you will set it up via the WebUI (similar to the process of setting up a Static IP):
- Access the WebUI by wired LAN connection AND with WLAN dongle inserted.
-
Access the homepage for the administrator (http://IP Address/home.html).
- (Example: For IP address = 192.168.10.1, http://192.168.10.1/home.html, obtain this through the network configuration page)
- Log in with User Name and Password (will be provided upon request).
-
Click "Network Configuration" ->Wireless Connection.
-
[If the SSID is Public] Click Enter under Site Survey.
-
Select the access point to connect.
-
Input the password and click connect.
-
Click [Save] menu or “Save” link to save the settings. In this case, do not click the back button of the browser, otherwise, settings will disappear.
-
Select [Save -> Configuration printing -> Restart device] for rebooting with setting printed, or [Save -> Restart device] for rebooting without setting printed, and click [execute]. Then the printer executes reboot and the setting is finished.
-
If the SSID Is not public: Input the setting of access point manually and click [Connect].
-
Select [Save -> Configuration printing -> Restart device] for rebooting with setting print, or [Save → Restart device] for rebooting without setting print, and click [execute]. Then the printer executes reboot and settings are complete.
